A Message from Mary John O’Hair, Vice Provost and Director, K20 Center
Established in 2006, the Office of the Vice Provost for School and Community Partnerships is designed to link the university with the broader educational community, particularly K-12 schools and communities. Activities focus on a variety of goals:
- Increase connections and collaborations among researchers, policy makers and practitioners;
- Develop programs that sustain and strengthen professional education across the career span;
- Link initiatives across the University in order to pool resources and more effectively meet K-12 school and community needs;
- Expand opportunities for sharing the University’s research, programs, and services with K-12 schools and communities.
The Office of the Vice Provost for School and Community Partnerships is committed to providing the highest quality research, professional development, and engagement activities and in building interactive learning communities that identify, analyze and help solve problems that face our community, our state, our country, and our world.
